Champions League Twenty20 fourth edition will be held in South Africa

The Mumbai Indian will defend their Champions League Twenty20 title, which they won against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai last year 2011. The CLT20 Governing Council has confirmed other Indian Premier League (IPL) teams. Kolkata Knight Riders is a current Champion of IPL and runners up of IPL Chennai Super Kings and Third Place Delhi Daredevils.
South Africa will host the fourth edition of the Champions League T20 Tournament. The Event will be played between 9th October 2012 to 28th October 2012 in four venues Centurion, Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg. Fourteen teams will be participated in the tournament from Eight Countries. Big International Cricketers will be played in the CLT20 2012.
South Africa will be hosted the tournament second time, after a successful second edition in 2010 when Chennai Super Kings won the title after defeated Warriors in the final at Wanderers in Johannesburg. The First and Third editions of the CLT20 tournament were played in India in 2009 and 2011.
The CLT20 Governing Council has confirmed the following teams as participants in the fourth edition of the CLT20 2012, including for the first time ever the participation of the Pakistan T20 Champions, The Sialkot Stallions:
South Africa – Titans, Highveld Lions
India – Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians
Australia - Sydney Sixers, Perth Scorchers
West Indies - Trinidad and Tobago
New Zealand - Auckland Aces
Sri Lanka – Uva Next
England – Hampshire, Yorkshire
Pakistan – Sialkot Stallions
The Champions League T20 is an initiative of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa. The CLT20 tournament is a platform where the world's best domestic T20 teams get the opportunity to pit their skills against each other.
